It’s been a dream of mine for many years to travel abroad to the land of Israel.  As a follower of Jesus Christ, I longed to go to the land where he walked and visit the sights where he ministered and brought healing, deliverance, and transformation through the good news of the gospel that brings salvation to all who believe and receive (Rom 10:9).

Now that dream is being fulfilled, and my journey will begin in Tel Aviv for a 10-day pilgrimage and tour of the Holy Land, led by Messianic rabbi, biblical scholar, and New York Times, best-selling author, Jonathan Cahn.

It wasn’t until I read The Harbinger, by Jonathan Cahn, that I began to truly understand the history of the nation of Israel and how it relates to those of us across the world who reside in the United States. I am not the only one whose life has been impacted and changed through the reading of this book. Here’s how other readers describe it:

“The Harbinger is the most important book to uncover the mystery behind 9/11, the war in Iraq, the crash of Wall Street, America’s future, and much more.”

“The Harbinger is far more than a prophetic warning to the United States. It is an unveiling of the ways of God.”.

As such, when I learned of this trip to the Holy Land, led by Jonathan Cahn, I knew that it was my time to go.  This trip is unique in that we will be celebrating Israel’s 70th anniversary as a nation, and the recent recognition of Jerusalem as its capital!

Isaiah writes in the Word of God:

Arise, Jerusalem! Let your light shine for all to see. For the glory of the Lord rises to shine on you. (Isaiah 60:1 NLT)

I will make peace your leader and righteousness your ruler.  Violence will disappear from you land; the desolation and destruction of war will end.  Salvation will surround you like city walls, and praise will be on the lips of all who enter there (Isaiah 60:17-18 NLT).

My office will be closed for two weeks but I will be back on May 8 for scheduled appointments.  Thank you in advance for your thoughts and prayers as I embark on a trip of a lifetime.  I hope to be forever changed by this experience.

And please pray for the peace of Israel.
